Silence

What is silence good for? You might hear the gentle conversations of trees as their leaves whisper lover-like endearments to each other. You might hear the velvety unfolding of flower petals or the languid drone of honeybees on a shimmering afternoon. You might hear the welcoming embrace in the shushing sound of the sea as it reflects the rising of the sun. You might even hear the earth inhale wearily, dutifully, hopefully, as it prepares itself for another day.
